Spin Digital at IBC 2026

Berlin, August 5th 2026: At Spin Digital we are pleased to announce our participation in the IBC 2026. The tradeshow is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 14 2026 at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam.

In the last months we have been busy developing the new version of our codec and media SDK – to be released soon as Spin SDK v9.0, and at IBC we will present a preview of the latest features and improvements to our state-of-the-art HEVC and VVC encoders for VoD, Live and Ultra-low-latency applications.

At IBC 2026 we are will showcase several new features of encoder and media player:

• Statmux and Live encoding: The new Spin Digital’s statmux is based on innovative perceptual coding and content-aware encoding algorithms. It supports HEVC and VVC encoders, and can combine streams with different properties including resolution, frame rates, etc. A new and upgraded user interface allows monitoring the status of all encoders in real-time.
• Improved quality HEVC and VVC encoders:  new presets and better perceptual quality for demanding content including videos with complex motion and noisy scenes.
• Ultra low-latency: single-frame software encodingfor ultra-low latency applications including broadcast contribution, real-time communication and remote control.
• Large-screen-display: Spin Player can be used for playback of very large resolution content (file and live) including 8K, 12K, 16K using a single computer, making it a cost effective solution for applications in immersive media, remote production and pro AV.
