Spin Digital at the 4K/8K Technology Expo in Tokyo

Tokyo, July 11, 2019 — Spin Digital will present a demonstration of 8K media at the 4K/8K Technology Expo that will take place from July 17-19 2019 at the Aomi Exhibition Hall, in Tokyo at the AOCM booth (7-14).

8K Demo

A demonstration of 8K video playback will be presented using Spin Digital’s Spin Player. Spin Player is a full-featured media player for professional users. It supports very-high resolution video (4K, 8K and beyond), high frame rates (including 8Kp120), and HDR and WCG including real-time tone and gamut mapping.

The demonstration will showcase an 8K solution using Spin Player and a long distance DisplayPort extension cable (up to 100m) from Cosemi Technologies.

The 4K/8K Technology Expo is a trade-show specialized in Ultra-High Definition (4K and 8K) media technologies including cameras, display, digital signage, content distribution and streaming, for broadcasting and industrial applications.
