Spin Digital at InterBEE 2025



Berlin / Tokyo. November 19th 2025: At Spin Digital we are pleased to announce our participation in the InterBEE 2025. The tradeshow is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 21 2025 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.

At InterBEE 2025 we will present on-site demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements of our state-of-the-art HEVC and VVC video encoders, decoders, media players and SDK.

Perceptually Optimized HEVC and VVC encoders

We recently released Spin SDK v8.0 which includes new versions of Spin Digital’s HEVC and VVC encoders which have been improved for better performance, quality, compression and new functionality. This includes among others:

  • Improved screen content detector which dynamically enables tools that improve coding of content with graphics, text and other similar screen content details.
  • Improved perceptual quality control algorithm allowing robust single pass CAE.
  • Support for inserting dynamic random access points, required for dynamic add insertion.

An onsite demo will showcase the visual quality of Spin Digital’s encoders for 4K HDR content with Content-aware Encoding (CAE), and we will present visual comparison with other encoders including x265, SVT-AV1, and VVenC.

Ultra low-latency HEVC and VVC encoder

The new ultra low latency encoder from Spin Digital supports the latest video coding standards HEVC and VVC, it is able to process ultra-high-definition video in real-time, and has all the features required for low-latency video streaming applications. This includes single frame latency, state-the-art rate control, small Hypothetical Reference Decoder (HRD) buffer, and Gradual Decoding Refresh (GDR).

An onsite demo will demonstrate ultra-low latency VVC encoding at 4K resolution (3840×2160) with 60 fps with a combined encoding and decoding latency of 30 ms, running on a small form factor MiniPC with a 16-core AMD CPU (Ryzen AI Max+ 395).

Ultra-low VVC latency software codecs can make a significant difference for applications such as real-time communication, remote control, cloud gaming, remote desktop infrastructure, and broadcast contribution.

Multi-view HEVC and VVC for high-end immersive media

Spin Digital is presenting its MV-HEVC and MV-VVC implementations. Multi-view efficiently encodes video from multiple viewpoints, achieving high-quality 3D video at low bitrates. VVC multiview achieves even higher compression efficiency and image quality.

The multi-view encoders are highly optimized for live and near-live applications. For live workflows the MV-HEVC can process the most demanding immersive applications including 8K at 120fps and 12K at 60fps.

MV-HEVC streaming using HLS has been validated for the Apple Vision Pro (AVP) headset and is ready for next-generation immersive media applications and devices.

8K 200 Mbps contribution live streaming over the Internet

By combining “Media XStream” an AI-based IP transmission platform developed by Caton Technology, with Spin Digital’s Live Encoder “Spin Enc Live” it is possible to achieve error-free, high-quality international distribution even over standard internet lines.

The combined solution does not rely on dedicated lines and ensures high reliability and stable video quality, offering an alternative for media owners responsible for video infrastructure, such as broadcasters and distribution companies.

An onsite demo will showcase 8K 60 fps live streaming from Berlin to Tokyo at 200 Mbps.
